The Water Cycle
The water cycle involves water constantly entering and leaving the atmosphere. Water exists in the atmosphere in three forms-
- Water vapour
Water is constantly being recycled by what is known as the Water Cycle. Water gets absorbed into the atmosphere by the process of Evaporation. As the water vapour rises it cools and Condensation occurs. The water is then returned to the earth in the form of Precipitation which then finds its way back to the rivers and the sea as Surface run off.
